When you’ve got a truck and the mule that both have to moved, and walking in the rain is not a fun option. Much better choice to let Jack drive!

We have a new landmark! This sign is so much better than “porta potty”! Thanks to a successful and much appreciated Boy Scout Eagle project. Well done!

Saturday was spa day for the ponies! Vonda, Rick (Jack’s brother), and Jack got them shiny clean. Amy mowed (by choice!)

It’s been so hot or so wet (or both!) that posting got, um, set aside. We stopped by the farm last night, though, and this is what we saw. Enjoy!
Not-so-traditional Mother’s Day breakfast - but the horses came arunnin’! Don’t worry, Silver got hers just fine.

Hunter means so much to so many people, and this post is a tribute to him. He was our go-to for ANYone who wanted to ride or just learn about horses. We relied on him in our therapeutic lessons. We could count on him to take care of his riders regardless of their age or experience.
Oh, he loved his grass and took off a couple of times or insisted on stopping to snack, but he was kind and gentle and caring.
He was part of our family for over ten years after Carol Addis donated him to Unbridled Joy. We named him Hunter, after her father, and he proved to be the best boy.
Now he’s earned his peace. Today we said our final good byes with exceptional gratitude for what he brought into the lives of so many people. There are many heart horses, but Hunter belonged to us all.

Spring! Finally, officially spring!
Add another piece of farm equipment to Jack’s resume. Thanks as always go to Rick for being here to help. You should see what these guys are clearing out!
Jack had a great first ride last Sunday on Applejack/AJ since he was donated in December. Thank you, Carol Addis!
