This Friday at Sheridan, football is bigger than the scoreboard. 🖤💛

The Sheridan Mother Generals will be collecting donations near the stadium entrance to support our River View senior Gavin “Ducky” Huff and his family. Rubber ducks will be available for donations, with 100% of the money going directly to Gavin’s family after the game.

We are incredibly grateful to the Sheridan community for continuing to support Gavin and share his story.

If you’re making the trip Friday night, please consider bringing a few extra dollars and helping us show Gavin just how many people are in his corner.

A packed house, a loud Black Bear crowd, and a night that reminded us just how special it is to represent River View.

These are the nights our young men and women will remember long after high school is over — the lights, the crowd, the friendships, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than themselves.

🖤💛A huge thank you to our Junior High Cheerleaders, Coach Brenna Keith, and the parents who helped transform our junior high & high school locker rooms for the John Glenn games.

Our boys walked in and were completely surprised by the time, effort, and encouragement that had been poured into that space. It was more than decorations — it was a reminder that we are all part of the same program, pulling in the same direction.

We’re excited about the culture Coach Keith is building with our Junior High Cheerleaders and their willingness to support football, promote school pride, and help bring our programs together as one team.

That matters. That builds community. And that’s the kind of culture we want to keep growing.
