Mental health awareness month is in full swing. Tonight Raising Hope Counseling is at The Gathering Place at 123 S Buffalo in Warsaw joining other mental health professionals as we welcome community members to be able to come and interact, ask questions and get to know us better. Come get to know us first hand so you can pick the absolute best fit for your mental health needs. Let’s end the stigma together! And there’s door prizes!

I had the privilege of being asked by Mrs Gardner’s Lincoln Elementary class to join them on their
podcast focusing on mental health and well being. The podcast topic was on “Sharpening the Saw”. The meaning behind it being, if a saw is not sharpened, it can’t perform its best. Just like if we are not taking care of ourselves, we are not going to be able to be our best. Take a listen to Elle’s great questions on how to keep our saw sharpened by focusing on self care around our mind, body, heart and spirit.

I am super excited to announce GROUP THERAPY is now a service Raising Hope Counseling is offering! Group will focus on anxiety and depression. They will meet once a week on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:00 pm. This is an adult group (18 and over) and mixed genders. It’s World Mental Health Day! What are you doing to take care of your mental health?

Raising Hope Counseling I offer outpatient mental health therapy. I work with individuals, couples and families. I specialize in working with children and have training in working with children that have trauma in their history.
