Ugly Bodies Softball

As I look back on the past 75 hours, as I retrace my steps, and recall each moment, I realize I wouldn't change one thing. From leaving Warwick, Rhode Island at 8pm Thursday night filling up a 15 passenger van with 14 passengers and a lot of softball gear, picking up our long lost brother Chris Valerio stopping in Georgia for some genuine barbecue, all the way to the end of our 27hr drive when we ended up in Little Haiti. All along the way our random but epic playlist blasted. Friday night was a blast, which continued Saturday where we gallavanted in Miami and had dinner on Ocean Drive. On Sunday we played in our first competitive tournament as a team. We may not have won, but we clawed and fought until the final out and I couldn't be more proud of this group of ballers. Looking ahead to another 27hr drive, I repeat, I wouldn't change a single thing. These people that I'm blessed to call my friends, aren't just my teammates, they're truly my second family. I love each and everyone you, everyone of you guys are amazing in your own special way. I truly thank and appreciate you all for balling out this weekend, for all the laughs and now all the irreplaceable memories. And whether or not we get a reality show or if it was even real...we don't need a TV show for us to know that we are truly the most special softball team that takes that field. Thank you International Slow Pitch Softball for your hospitality, the competition and the experience.
