Michael, former sparring captain, referee, and 1x sparring silver medalist, leaving here with a doctorate. One of the most dedicated and hardworking people around, always down for a tough sparring practice.
Anna, former vice president, leaving here with her bachelors, luckily returning to us while she gets her masters. Truly a ray of sunshine able to help anyone power through any challenge.
Destinie, 1x poomsae gold medalist, leaving here with her bachelors, luckily will also be around to visit us in the coming year. A jack of all trades, coming up through our program and excelling to the highest degree.
Carolina, former demo team secretary, leaving here with her bachelors. Asian Nite 25 was as successful as it was through her, and served the club as a whole in 24-25 diligently, always ready to help out with any task needed.
Fatma, 1x sparring bronze medalist, former vice president, and former coach, and continuing TC with leaving here with both her bachelors and masters. A strong dedication to the club throughout the years.

We accept all members regardless of experience. There is a place for everyone. Come join our UCONN Taekwondo Club Sports Team!
We, the UConn Taekwondo Club, will provide training in the martial art of Taekwondo to all of our members, regardless of prior experience. This includes instruction in all aspects of World Taekwondo Federation (WTF)-style Taekwondo, as a science, art, and physical and mental discipline. As a University of Connecticut Club Sport, our primary focus is to train members to compete in Olympic-style Taekwondo competitions at the local and regional levels.

Last month our team went down to Brown University and we were able to get our first gold metal for sparring with our A1 Mens Sparring Team! We also achieved getting first in our division thanks to everyone’s hard work! 🥋
