Attleboro Badgers 14U Third-Inning Burst Enough To Top Green Monsters, 12-0

An eight-run explosion in the third inning carried Attleboro Badgers 14U to a 12-0 win in five innings over Green Monsters on Sunday.
Attleboro Badgers 14U scored in the third on an RBI double by Benn Sherman, a fielder's choice, an RBI single by Jake Gorman, an RBI single by Justin Neidel, an RBI single by Nick Lewis, an RBI single by Collin Davis, a fielder's choice, and an RBI double by Brice Pietro.

Pietro racked up three RBIs on three hits for Attleboro Badgers 14U.
Cam Foster had an impressive outing against Green Monsters' lineup. Cam Foster held Green Monsters hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three.

Attleboro Badgers 14U stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring two runs on a two-run single by Pietro.
Attleboro Badgers 14U got one-run rallies in the second inning and the fourth. In the second, Attleboro Badgers 14U scored on a passed ball, scoring Cam Foster.

Attleboro Badgers 14U Makes The Most Of 8 Hits In 9-4 Victory Over Green Monsters

Attleboro Badgers 14U and Green Monsters both threatened with rallies, but it was Attleboro Badgers 14U that eventually took advantage of them in a 9-4 win at Seekonk.

Green Monsters had 12 hits compared with Attleboro Badgers 14U's eight, but Green Monsters stranded 10 runners on base.
Brice Pietro racked up two RBIs on one hit for Attleboro Badgers 14U. He doubled in the fifth inning.

The game's last lead went to Attleboro Badgers 14U thanks to a second inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on a two-run double by Benn Sherman.

Attleboro Badgers 14U survived Green Monsters' surge and put up one run of its own in the third. Attleboro Badgers 14U scored on an error.

After a quick strike from Green Monsters, Attleboro Badgers 14U responded with one run in the fourth. Attleboro Badgers 14U scored on an RBI single by Cam Foster.

After pushing across one run in the top of the fifth, Green Monsters faced just a 4-3 deficit. An RBI single by Barracelli gave Green Monsters life. But, Jake Gorman got Lesercty to fly out to end the inning.

Bombers opened up the day with strong bats, pitching and fielding, but on fortunately to let to many runs get away from them with a tie in game 1. The second game was much stronger with consistency across the board in the 13-3 win in 5 innings.

Tough loss in the bottom of the 7th against the 2nd seed Double Play Invaders. It was a cold one but the boys fought hard and stayed focus.

Big extra innings win by the Bomber's over the RI Green Monsters. Benny Sherman had a clutch 2 run triple in the top of the 8th and Nick McMahon closed things with a commanding inning to shut out the Green Monsters. Great Job Boys. Next games is 1045 am at Warwick Vets High School! Keep up the momentum boys!

The Bombers begin fall ball playoffs today at 3:30 pm at Hurley Middle School in Seekonk, MA against the RI Green Monsters.
