An Ebay find:
A ticket stub for the Washington Federals' inaugural game against the Chicago Blitz on March 6, 1983 at RFK Stadium. A section 311, row 11, seat 19 ticket was only $10, and there was a redeemable coupon for Wendy's on the back. Oh, the good ol' days...

The cover of the official 2005 yearbook of the Washington Nationals. The Nationals played and won their very first MLB game at RFK Stadium on April 14, 2005 against the Arizona Diamondbacks by a score of 5-3.
The "Nats" would call 2400 East Capitol St. N.E. home until 2007 before moving into the brand new Nationals Park at the beginning of the 2008 season. The Nats would open RFK Stadium with an opening day victory, and close out at RFK with a 5-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on September 23, 2007.

SEPTEMBER 10, 1984: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mark Clayton leaps above Washington Redskins cornerback Darrell Green to snag a 9-yard touchdown pass during a September 2, 1984 game at RFK Stadium, and landed on the cover of Sports Illustrated. The Dolphins will beat the Redskins in blowout fashion by a score of 35-17, in front of 52,683 fans.

Former Washington Redskins cornerback Pat Fischer passed away today at the age of 84.
Pat’s professional football career spanned 17 seasons, during which he played as a cornerback for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Washington Redskins (now Commanders), making his mark as one of the most formidable and fearless defenders in the league despite his relatively small stature for the sport.
Pat passed away surrounded by his loving family, leaving behind a legacy that transcends the football field and touches the hearts of everyone who knew him.

APRIL 3, 2004: Freddy Adu makes his professional debut with D.C. United at RFK Stadium. Adu was also the youngest player to appear in an MLS game at just 14 years of age.
