This is obviously leading to the money match at SummerSlam –– Punk vs. Cody, but where does that leave Sami on the card?

If this was WWE’s end goal why not just have Cody retain at Night of Champions? I understand Sami’s ties to Saudi Arabia and him winning the title there was special, but why not just hold off until ‘Mania in 2027 to give him that moment?
