Throwing it back to the start of our love story in DC

Feeling so grateful not ONLY to get to share my life with someone wonderful…

First of all, Emily in Paris is an absolute banger of a show and I’ll die on that hill

Second, I’ve been thinking about life, expansion, growth, and all the usual things the start of a new year brings…

I’ve always been hungry, and aiming for the impossible

I’ve been through hell to bring my visions to life & get what I want (and honestly I have everything I could want that is in my control)

And while I’ve frankly impressed myself by my own grit & determination, this year I decided to see what happens if I let my efforts be led…

With greater boldness; greater trust; greater vision

Maybe I’ve just needed to be humbled, but I feel called to share that while I’ve accomplished everything I have wanted to over the last several years—I’ve been limiting myself

To my own humanity

I think we are capable of SO MUCH more than we push ourselves to, and I know for myself I wanted to fill up all the spaces in my life where I was letting myself settle

And I think I’ve reached an edge where I don’t even know what’s next

Usually in this scenario, I’ve just DECIDED what will be next (and of course I still cherish my responsibility to dream bigger & challenge myself)

But recently I have sat with the question “what if I ask God daily what to build?”

I don’t think God wants to direct our every choice or expects us to be mindless drones

But I’ve been exploring the balance between my will & Gods

Maybe I’ve been too far on one end & I’m finding a middle ground, but I feel compelled to something I can’t see

Which is terrifying & I don’t entirely know what to do in this space

But I trust myself to do hard things, I trust God to take me to places unknown, and I’ll be sure to keep you posted on what unfolds here

When I was in Paris last September, I could sense a big change was on the horizon

I hoped to know what it would be by now (or to force what it could be by creating a new vision board & setting new goals)

So all this to say: I don’t know what’s next

But I’m excited to find out✨

I keep asking men if they agree with this and the response has been OVERWHELMINGLY…”yes, yes, a million times yes”

Being able to have fun, laugh together, and enjoy each others presence is NECK AND NECK with sharing values, and attraction

(Although some men have shared with me & online they’d even go for a woman who has less accomplishments & is less attractive if she is fun to be around)

Life is hard enough; and I believe having a relationship that feels like a refuge from the storms is what men are seeking above most qualities

He wants to feel wanted
He wants to feel useful
He wants to see you light up when he walks into the room

And even the most Type-A, driven, ambitious woman HAS playful, fun, creative energy

But we’ve been conditioned to tamper that down, hide it away, and cut ourselves off from it

ESPECIALLY in order to thrive in a corporate environment

But your playful side is an aspect of your feminine

It’s a piece of you that you GET to connect with again, embrace, grow, and tap into as part of being multidimensional

When was the last time you did something silly?
When was the last time you intentionally did something embarrassing in public?
When was the last time you developed a creative skill?

This is SUCH an integral part of how we connect with men; and how men WANT to connect

We are designed to COMPLEMENT each other

And the same way you feel safe when he shows emotional accountability, he will let HIS guard down when he sees you being FULLY yourself

Including the weird parts, the crazy parts, the silly parts that joke & have fun with him

Be a bad singer in front of him; show him your lack of athleticism; let him see you VULNERABLE and playful

I hear from men that a lot of women lead with lectures & demands about what they deserve

But what they’re missing is how to INVITE the treatment they want through FREEING their energy…rather than controlling everything (including him!)

Playfulness invokes a sense of trust inside him that makes him EAGER to be a protector & a leader

And feeling trusted is key for him WANTING to commit to you 🎯

2025 pt 2!

In August, I had a shedding & transformation moment in my business that I’ve been pouring my heart into building for years…and I feel like it finally became my reality

September was complicated as I had the BEST trip abroad to meet up with my mentor & the women in my business group again — and I also experienced tragedy that shocked me to my core

October was a month of exploring Virginia with our friends, just the 2 of us, & a visit from Christians parents

And November, as always, was my most favorite month as we celebrated our 5th anniversary, my birthday spent with my parents, and my business’s highest cash month of the year 🥂

December was spent in excitement for what’s to come, and I ramped UP my work to support my clients, meet one of them for an in-person coaching day, and attending the Italian Embassy Christmas Gala

I saw 1 official engagement, several new relationships, and one UNofficial engagement from my clients — plus updates from past clients like baby announcements, saying “I love you” for the first time, and more🫶

To say I’m obsessed with the work I get to do, the clients who trust me, and the life I’ve given everything to build would be an understatement

Cheers to what’s on the horizon for next year🥂

How lucky am I that I watched so many of my dreams become real in 2025?

How highly favored and BLESSED I feel to have too many good things to share about my year that I can only get to JULY for the amount of pictures I can share in one post??

Jan - we welcomed a new little puppy into our lives after tragically losing our dog Gizmo
Feb - we moved back to DC & I met a client in NYC for private 1:1 coaching
March - I met up with 2 other private clients for GLAMOROUS VIP coaching days (we ate delicious food, went to Cirque De Solei, ate more food) in Vegas
April - met up with my coach & the women in my business group in NYC & had high tea at Bergdorf Goodman
May - attended the annual matchmakers conference where I met my OG inspiration for my entire business: Patti Stanger (plus many other incredible individuals in the industry that I’m infinitely grateful to be connected to)
June - of course had to catch a Nats game with my love, and get new headshots for the agency now partner with (featuring the dress my sister designed for me😍)
July - celebrated this great country with the best company & enjoyed some truly incredible sunsets
