Fantastic First Day of racing! See you all tomorrow morning. Don't forget about the road closures... leave yourself plenty of time.
Boats and docks are ready, schedules have been printed, referees are in town. We are ready to rock and roll! See everyone in a few hours!
Set up for the festival has begun. Boats are on the way, and docks and course will be start being installed shortly. See you all in less than 24 hours!
The weather and river and looking great for our event this weekend. We're so relieved! New race schedules are up on the site www.dragonboatdc.com.
We're very happy to announce that we got permission to have the festival on June 18th and 19th! It's the same day as the DC Triathlon, and their bike race course will go right by our meeting spot by the Watergate, so we're still working out issues on how to co-exist with this other event. But get ready for a great weekend of racing!
Stilll working to see if a new date is possible. Should know more later this week.
