Through our partnership with DOES and the Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program, Bourne2Fly is proud to support youth employment and workforce development this summer.
📍 41 students expressed interest at our Career Expo
📍 77 youth submitted online applications
📍 We offered positions across every age category
📍 We are hiring 10 youth this summer
If all participants complete their expected hours, this program will generate an anticipated $8,700 directly into the hands of DC youth and young adults.
This is bigger than summer jobs.
It’s exposure. Mentorship. Structure. Leadership. Confidence. Opportunity.
We’re committed to creating spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

• Curls (Using a Gallon Jug or Dumbbells)
• Hanging or Laying Leg Raises
• Overhead Press (Using a Gallon Jug or Dumbbells)
• Plank Holds
ROUND BREAKDOWN
🔥 1st Round: 75 sec work / 20 sec rest

Participants will receive CPR & AED Certification through the American Red Cross, valid for 2 years.
This training is great for parents, coaches, fitness professionals, educators, and community members who want to be prepared and capable in emergency situations.
