Erg Sprints cancelled! No problem - we had a mock erg sprints at the boathouse!! Fun times!! Lots of PRs!!

All alumni and current AHS rowers - we are going to meet at Bodos on Wednesday, November 26th at 10 am for our annual Thanksgiving gathering!! We would love to see any folks who are in town for the holiday!

The Rivanna Rowing Club (RRC) Juniors are excited to be participating in a special charity fundraiser organized by the Head Of The Charles Regatta (HOCR) for 2025. This initiative supports the West End House, a Boston-based organization that empowers local youth through programs focused on education, fitness, and leadership.

As a junior rowing program, giving back through service is core to who we are. Our athletes are honored to race at HOCR this year not only as competitors but as supporters of a cause that is making a real difference in young lives.

We brought 26 athletes to the VCRC (Virginia State Rowing Championship). All 26 athletes were on the podium!! Six golds, two silvers, and two bronze!! State Champions were crowned in the Men’s Senior Quad, Women’s Senior Quad, Women’s Senior Double, Women’s Senior Single, Men’s Junior Double, Men’s Junior Single. Big shout out to our novice rowers who rowed against experienced rowers in the junior quads, qualified for finals through the heats and finished third to get on the podium!! Great day!! Thank you to our parents who kept us feed and hydrated all day!!

🚨 Welcome Tulip Fors our # 5️⃣ signee to the Class of 2029! A Charlottesville native coached by Cathy Coffman who has Cavalier connections throughout her family - Tulip has the fantastic potential and intangibles to a fantastic member of the next generation of Virginia Rowing.
