There is a lot happening in the world that demands our attention, compassion, and action. Many of us feel a deep responsibility to help others.

But caring for ourselves, nurturing our creativity, and engaging in joy through our own Creative Summer Adult Camp experience is not necessarily in opposition to helping others.

Creating your own Adult Summer Camp doesn't have to mean withdrawing from the world. It can be a way of preparing yourself to engage with it more fully. You might even design your summer camp around service, community, or social impact.

For example, a Creative Adult Summer Camp could include:

-Learning art forms connected to social justice movements

-Volunteering while documenting the experience through writing or photography

-Creating art that raises awareness about issues you care about

-Participating in community arts projects

-Exploring histories and stories that deepen your understanding of others

In fact, creativity, curiosity, and play can help sustain us so that we can continue showing up for our communities over the long term.

Restoration, learning, and creative expression can strengthen our capacity for empathy, problem-solving, resilience, and action.

So what will your Creative Summer Adult Camp look like? DM me and let's support each other!
