Some of my morning affirmations. One of the many things that I’ve learned from my therapist & life coach is tapping, affirmations, and grounding. I am constantly detoxing my body mentally and physically of toxins - which can come the form of people, food, environment, situations. Pool day!!! It took a lot to post that last pic cause I’m still working on this body. I’ve been going hard in the gym the last 3 weeks since I was was cleared by the docs to work out. Loving & loving life while still getting as much vitamin D as possible. What y’all doing today?

Saturday morning breakfast of champions on a paper plate. (Excuse it please, I’m still sleepy). Leftover spinach, baked sea bass, an egg and kimchi from . Healthy proteins(from the fish & egg), probiotics from the kimchi, omegas (healthy fats) and good carbs from the spinach. This meal is energy! If you love kimchi, check my girl kimchi out. It’s the best I’ve ever tasted. She’s got me hooked on it!

Getting back on my workout ish! Man I hit those weights hard today! I know I’m gonna feel it tomorrow and I welcome it. Back to teaching and training this week. I feel like a new person. I haven’t felt this good in years. Haven’t lost much strength & so grateful for another chance at life. I’m loving it up!! Videos coming soon

Nice gym for my first real workout post surgery and boy did it feel good in this beautiful gym in the Windy City! I’m so ready to get back to a fitness filled lifestyle & so excited about this next chapter in life. First thing this am I jumped out of bed and went straight to the gym. Back at it!💪🏾

Cooked a full meal in my new kitchen for the first time since surgery. I’m about to dig in this healthy hearty meal of veggies and salmon over rice (not showed). I’m trying black rice for the first time also since it’s a healthier option.

I’m amazed that I was carrying around an almost 8 pound mass in my tummy. The day of surgery at the hospital I weighed in at 161.3 and when I came home from the hospital I was 153.8. Even tho I’m still swollen and have much extra fluid to drain, I’m happy to have a waistline again (watch out summertime!)

The past week has been tough on a sister as far as pain goes. I didn’t want to ask for stronger meds so I focused on the swelling and inflammation in my body by consuming natural nutrients and foods with anti inflammatory properties. I didn’t use them all at once. I used different items on different days. Today is my 2 week follow up and I’m happy to say that most of my inflammation is gone and pain level is very low. Food is medicine! Pictured is an assortment of berries (anti inflammatory), homemade broth from my Italian Mama (nutrients), elderberry syrup (immune builder), bladderwrack (drank as tea builds immunity, good for skin, nutrient filled), CBDa coffee (anti inflammatory, calms stomach, decreases pain), golden milk (reduces inflammation), golden sea moss and purple sea moss (92 vitamins and minerals, nutrient dense). Not shown is lots of lemon water & green tea

Good morning! Balcony breakfast of shrimp and grits w/ tomatoes prepared by chef , CBDa coffee (helps with inflammation, nausea & is calming) and drinking my alkaline water by to help cleanse my system. Great way to start the day! Dm for info to purchase CBD products by and for inspire alkaline water. Both are having a major positive impact on me during this healing process
