Register now for spring semester beginning fencing classes for kids (ages 8 to 12) and adults (ages 13 to 70) at the Chevy Chase Community Center. Equipment is provided. Classes start the second week of April.

Online registration for adults and children is now open for the fall semester group classes. All classes meet in the fencing room in the Chevy Chase Community Center, Connecticut Avenue & McKinley Street, NW.

Youth classes are for boys and girls 8 to 12 years old. Full uniform and equipment are provided to the students. Classes begin September 9.

Adult classes are for ages 13 and above. Adult students have ranged in age from 13 to 70. Foil, jacket, and mask is provided to the students. Classes begin September 6.

At last weekend's April NAC in St. Louis Chevy Chase Fencing Club fencers returned with two Gold medals and one Silver medal. Congrats to Bettie Graham, Gold in Veteran-80 Women's Epee and Silver in Veteran-80 Women's Foil and to Mark Henry, Gold in Veteran-80 Men's Epee.

Beginning on April 11, fencing club practice will be meeting 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Chevy Chase Community Center.

Congrats, again, to Bettie Graham winning her second Gold Medal this weekend in the Vet-80 Women’s Foil at the January NAC in Louisville.
