Meet Coach Flo. β½
Coach Florian Galiby leads our U14 Boys Black team and brings over 15 years of playing experience from France, including college-level soccer equivalent to Division 1 in the US.
His approach on the field is positive, energetic, and fun. One non-negotiable though: respect for the game and respect for each other.

Our girls are going to Brazil. π§π·
Our 2010 to 2013 girls are headed to the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup, and our community is going to help send them there.
It starts TODAY at Family Field Night with the GotSneakers Drive. Bring your old athletic shoes, drop them off with our girls, and that's it. Your old sneakers stay out of the landfill and our players get one step closer to Brazil.
Athletic shoes in pairs only please, including cleats.
Vamos! π§‘π€

Coaching spotlight: Acacio Santos β½π
Coach Acacio leads our U14 Girls and Challenge teams and is now in his second season with DC Way Academy. He brings a Brazilian soccer background, a creative eye for the game, and a genuine love for player development.
π¬ What inspired you to become a youth soccer coach?
"My biggest inspirations were the coaches I had as a player. I carry a piece of each of them with me today. Being part of a young player's journey and making it a positive experience is what drives me."
π¬ What made you come back for another season?
"Two things: the players and the club. Seeing the growth of the players has been incredibly rewarding."
π¬ Something families might not know about you?
"I love the beach and playing footvolley. Add a Brazilian barbecue and it gets even better! But I really don't like losing⦠or spiders!"
We're lucky to have you, Acacio. π§‘
