Reformer Primer: A 3-Week Workshop! 🩵

Been thinking about trying a Reformer class? This series is for you!

Join Jacqueline for a 3-session introductory workshop designed to help you build a strong foundation in the classical Pilates Reformer method. You’ll explore the traditional sequence, learn the fundamentals, and gain the skills and confidence to continue progressing in the original method.

📅 Tuesdays: October 20, October 27 & November 3
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM
💰 Cost: $126 for all 3 sessions

Excel Pilates DC was thrilled to welcome Howard University’s Physical Therapy Program for a Powerhouse Workshop exploring the anatomy of the Pilates powerhouse, the foundational system behind the Pilates method, and its connection to theories of motor development and motor control! 🎉

From “aha!” moments to meaningful learning opportunities, the workshop was an inspiring experience for movement professionals across disciplines! We were especially excited to see our Teacher Training Program apprentices put their knowledge into action by supporting the teaching process and contributing to the overall learning experience.

At Excel Pilates DC, we love supporting our local academic institutions and welcome other programs interested in learning more about the Pilates method. We are excited to contribute to the EXCELlence of the next generation of movement professionals! 🩵

What began in September 1998 with a shared passion for Pilates, a lot of hard work, and a vision for empowering others has grown into an incredible community spanning three affiliate studios and thousands of clients.

From mastering The Hundred, conquering the Teaser, and finally nailing that Roll Up, to teacher training, workshops, retreats, and countless personal milestones, we’ve excelled together every step of the way. 💪

Thank you to every client, teacher, graduate, staff member, and friend who has been part of our journey. Your dedication, energy, and support have made these 28 years truly special.
