When I was 14 years old, I sat in the office of the school with Sifus Raymond Wong and Craig Lee. Sifu said that if anything happened to him, he wanted me to stay close to the both of them. He then said to both Raymond and Craig that they would be responsible for my Kung Fu education. I assisted Raymond with his class on Sundays and Craig's classes on Mondays. A year later, Sifu was gone and I trained full time under the both of them. When the WCBA was founded, Craig was the head instructor and I was his assistant. They made good on that commitment and for that I honor them for teaching me after the death of our Sifu.
Ironically both men share the same birthday, November 22nd. Happy birthday to Jow Ga Sifus Raymond Wong and Craig Lee! You brothers are remembered and appreciated!

DC Jow Ga and 10,000 Victories would like to invite you to study Tui Na with Sifu Scott Jensen, who is the only actively teaching Sifu under the late, great Wong Jack Mon. Tui Na is more than massage, it is a study of the human anatomy and how to heal it. If you have students sparring or practicing grappling, this information is especially valuable as injuries are inevitable. You increase the value of your classes by being prepared to treat injured students.
Please check him out, the classes will begin soon.

Bruce Lee, for inspiration.
Unlike most traditional schools, Jow Ga under the direction of Sifu Dean Chin, was a combination of old and new. Therefore, students trained with forms, two man sets and lion dance--yet performed heavy bag training, cross trained with other martial arts styles, skipped rope, and sparred with gloves and headgear. The influence of Bruce Lee and his philosophy was ever-present in the school, even during classes.
Saturday schedule always included a gap between 12pm (after the morning class) and 3pm, when the sparring clinic began... perfect timing for those who wanted to catch Black Belt Theater on TV. Coincidence? We will let you be the judge. 🤔🤣😂🤣
