Celebrating 20 years this fall! The American University Equestrian Team was founded in the Fall of 2003. All competitions are hunter/jumper equitation (English).
It is a club sport encouraging riders of all levels and disciplines to join. The team competes in Zone 4, Region 1 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). Riders train under the direction of Astrid "Star" Dalley at Oatland Stables in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Team members typically ride once per week and show in approximately 4 to 6 horse shows per semester. Despite the young age of th

The spring show season is off to a great start! Everyone rode great at our home show yesterday, and we are so excited for Goucher and regionals next weekend! We are also so proud of our four regional qualifiers: Julien Halgan (Intermediate O/F), Eryn Mikulicz (Limit O/F), Jelinda Montes (Limit Flat), and Phebe Koundinya (Novice Flat)!
