Not my picture, but holy s**t, the international response is... moving. My thoughts are with France, the victims, and families.

It's SNOWING!!!!!
13 states to go, New England is next!
Charity and generosity is something I have experienced on this trip. Strangers have helped me, fed me, and opened up their home to me. I am grateful, and give back when I can.
I didn't give to the homeless before this trip, it was something I never did. However, it has become something I try to do as I travel from city to city. If I see someone begging on the corner, I'll hand them a handful of granola bars. I realized that there are people out there struggling, and really need any help they can get.
Then there are the people who don't need help and abuse other people's generosity, such as the man I met earlier today.
Upon revealing his cardboard sign telling us that he's "homeless, anything will help". I extend to him a handful of granola bars, which he politely refused and said he already had plenty and didn't want any more.
