🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR FIREARM REGISTRATIONS IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA 🚨

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has implemented new firearm registration requirements.

📋 REQUIRED FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS:

✅ Digital submission of the PD-219 Firearm Registration Application

✅ Five (5) photos of each firearm must be uploaded:
• Front View
• Back View
• Left Side View
• Right Side View
• Clear Serial Number Photo

⚠️ The serial number must be clearly visible and legible.

💻 MPD’s Online Registration Portal is now MANDATORY for all firearm registration submissions.

Failure to provide all required photographs and documentation may result in processing delays.
