Recognizing the physical and emotional effects of a sedentary lifestyle, the organization’s fitness and nutrition program was established to teach personal excellence in athletics and life, while encouraging a belief in personal responsibility, instilling habits of hard work, and demonstrating passionate commitment to excellence. These activities aspire to take recreation and leisure to another level. The goal of the program is to become an aggressive resource in broadening the scope of recreational activities for all youth in the community, while at the same time incorporating the importance of good character and academic success. Since its founding, AllStar Sports and Fitness has been successfully serving multiple age groups in the community through an after school fitness and nutrition program offered on-site at its office in Bamenda and play ground in the Mankon Stadium, Dschang, Fouban, Kumbo and Yaounde. The program, offers free of charge, fitness and nutrition classes. The program has assisted many youth in meeting their personal health and fitness goals while instilling within them a dedication to maintaining lifelong wellness and academic progress. Having identified an ideal location for establishment of a permanent facility within the target community, our organization is currently seeking funding to increase our organizational capacity through acquisition of capital funding. AllStar Sports and Fitness proposed Fitness and Nutrition Center will provide a stimulating environment for young people that addresses their social and educational development, as well as physical fitness needs. Activities will continuously provide students the opportunity to achieve optimal physical conditioning, thus fostering self-confidence and high self-esteem, while at the same time promoting their health and wellness. All AllStar Sports and Fitness programs are supervised by professional educator-trainers with years of high school, college, and professional experience. The Executive President, Mr Divine Anye, is well qualified for his position. Possessing an extensive history in health and fitness education bolstered by his experiences as a volunteer US Military. Anye’s involvement with the community has provided him with many opportunities to enhance his communication and mentoring skills, both of which are vital to the success of the organization. Currently Allstars is running a Basketball program with one senior team, Bamenda Allstars Basketball Club currently the Cameroon's national Basketball Champions and Africa zone 4 runners up. Allstars junior Basketball teams in Bamenda, Foubam, and Dschang all playing the junior basketball National finals. Supporting our teams is our Allstars Cheer Leading Team made of young talented girls. The Allstars Athletic Club will be sending its first athletic team to different races including the most renowned Mt Cameroon race of hope and other races in Kenya and Malabo.
