Happy Juneteenth, Lucky Pup community! While July 4th is often more widely celebrated, Juneteenth is America’s truest and most important independence day. On this day, we honor the Black members of our community and celebrate Black joy and resistance. Although the legacy of chattel slavery can still be felt in systemic injustice throughout our country, today is a day where we remember we all have the responsibility to fight for freedom, and when we do, everyone benefits.

We had such an amazing weekend full of events! Puppies, kittens, and yoga in the park 🐱🐶☀️
