Metro DC Yoga Week's mission is to provide Washington DC area (including DC, VA and MD) residents with an opportunity to try a yoga class for free or $5 at participating studios across the metro DC area.

Word on the street is that in our nation's capital flowers are in bloom?
I've only been to Washington, DC a handful of times over the past year so if you're still in my old hometown this will be a rare moment to connect! I'm visiting this weekend and put a couple of classes on the schedule at Flow Yoga Center. If you're around come out and let's play!

*Friday night, May 13th treat yourself to an epic class from 8:30pm - 10:30pm called, "Midnight Flow."

*Sunday morning, May 15th drop into an extended practice from 10am - 1pm called, "Burning the Karmic Body."

We're hosting two virtual classes on March 8th from the Cathedral and invite you to join us for this immersive experience.

Advanced registration is required. A recording will be sent to those who register but are unable to attend too!

Start your week with Flow! Alex Garza & Corinna Loomis lead this energizing and awakening yoga experience. Some beginner yoga experience will make this class easier to follow. This class will be offered live on Zoom from the Cathedral Nave.

12:15-1 pm EST
Kara Welch plays live harp music to accompany this all-level yoga class led by Shawn Parell. Stretch, strengthen and relax in this unique offering from the Cathedral Nave. No experience necessary! This class will be offered live on Zoom from the Cathedral Nave.

The Cathedral is currently hosting the art exhibit Les Colombes (The Doves), a graceful column of origami doves that winds its way through the Cathedral nave. Messengers of hope, they invite us to be kind to one another.

Registrants will be sent information with a Zoom login. Tickets are pay-what-you-wish, starting at $10.

The 2020 NBC4 Telemundo 44 Health & Fitness Expo will be held Saturday, Jan. 18 and Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. We will be offering free yoga classes all weekend! See you there!
