I’ve always talked about sustainability in practice and lately I’m really practicing it. I’ve never been one to push it too hard, but I’ve also never been one to consistently dial it back too far either, until recently.
.
Between injuries, teaching, and well, life, practice really is a practice right now. It’s hard for me to not get frustrated with myself as I struggle to do postures that used to be easy.
.
Instead, I meet my frustrations with compassion - or try to - and know that this too will pass. It all does.
.
Ultimately, sustainability comes from prioritizing sustainability. Make your practice work for your life. This is the work of sustainability, making sure your practice is something you can keep coming back to and that you want to keep coming back to.
.
Link in bio to join the waitlist for my second series interactive online course! Prerecorded content and six weeks of interactive meetings. Coming this fall.

Thanks to for the photo 💛
