Clarence A. Miles is the UOY executive director and founder. He is highly regarded and enthusiastically respected by residents from both communities supported by UOY. The Alliance of Concerned Men in collaboration with 100 Fathers, Inc. awarded Mr. Miles the 2016 “Returning Citizens Father of the Year Award.” UOY is a recipient of the “Commitment to Excellence for Community Engagement Award” from the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency. UOY has received several awards and acknowledgements from the Office of the Mayor of Washington, D.C. and the District of Columbia Housing Authority.
