PONY Baseball and Softball The 2026 C**t 16U East Zone Championship will begin on Wednesday, July 22 at Stoner White Field in Greensboro, NC. Teams from New York, Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina will compete for a chance to play International Teams in the World Series in Marion Illinois on July 31, 2026. Come out to Stoner White Field in Greensboro.

High Point Pony League is hosting the PONY Baseball and Softball East Zone Championships for Mustang-9 World Series, Mustang World Series and Bronco-11 World Series. Teams are in High Point competing from North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York for a chance to advance to their respective World Series Event. Visit

Congratulations to the Smithfield Recreation Association Pinto 8U Team for winning the South Region Championship High Point Pony League this past weekend!! A great tournament for all teams that participated from Virginia and North Carolina.

The 8U All-Stars have completed their run in High Point going 7-0 and becoming the East Zone Region Champs.

This special group went 11-0 during their Pony tournament run out scoring opponents 115 runs and giving up 14 runs in the 11 games played.

Congratulations boys and way to represent the county!

This group was comprised of the Smithfield Reds, Smithfield Dodgers, Smithfield Blue Jays, and Smithfield YardGoats.
