🍂 FALL FISHING IS IN FULL SWING!

The silver salmon are still around and will continue into October! But let’s talk about the real star of fall…

TROUT FISHING IS POPPIN’! 🎣🔥

Fall trout fishing on the Kenai is about as good as it gets. Grab those beads, flesh patterns and trout gear and GO!

⚡️ STEELHEAD
Steelhead season is here and it’s shaping up nicely! If chasing one of Alaska’s most exciting fish has been on your list, now is the time to start planning that trip.

🌲 PARKS HWY STREAMS
Still fishing well! Water levels are running a little high right now, so use extra caution around the rivers and crossings.

As fall progresses, keep following those trout, Dollies and grayling as they move downstream toward the Big Su.

And Big Lake has been producing some NICE Arctic char lately! 👀 If you haven’t hit the lakes in a while, don’t overlook them this time of year.

🎣 WEEKLY FISHING REPORT — FALL FISHING IS HERE! 🍂🐟

The calendar might say September, but fishing season is FAR from over. In fact, some of our favorite fishing of the year is just getting started!

🏔️ PARKS HWY STREAMS
Water levels are looking GREAT, and the forecast is shaping up for a beautiful, long fall of fishing. Trout, Dollies and grayling are still on the feed!

As the salmon finish up, remember to follow those fish downstream as they drop out toward the Big Su. The trout will be right behind them looking for an easy meal. 🎯

🎣 DENALI HWY
GRAYLING FUN! Grab that 3 wt and go chase some beautiful fall grayling. Light rod + hungry grayling = a pretty darn good day.

🐟 VALDEZ
Silvers are going strong, and the Dolly fishing is great! Definitely worth the trip.

🌊 KENAI
Don’t put those salmon rods away yet! Silvers will stick around well into October. Still opportunity to fill the freezers!

And then there are the TROUT. 🔥
Fall trout fishing on the Kenai is here, and this is some of the best fishing of the season.

As the salmon wrap things up, just follow those trout, dollies and grayling down as they start dropping out of the systems. Beads, flesh, streamers — keep that box ready because fall fishing in Alaska is hard to beat!

There are still some silvers around to be caught! Same opportunities as last week — Jim Creek, Fish Creek, Cottonwood Creek on weekends, and the Eklutna Tailrace.

Make sure you’re checking current regs and Emergency Orders before heading out.

🏔️ KENAI + QUARTZ CREEK
Quartz Creek is fishing GREAT right now, as is the Kenai. If you’ve been waiting for that fall trout trip… this is your sign.
