Since 1970 at EMGC, there have been 4 different Greenskeepers, 5 different restaurant proprietors and many golf professionals yet only one EMMGA. 56 years later, the EMMGA remains the source for fair and equitable competitive golf for players of all calibers at The Mountain. This weekend, our 2026 tournament schedule kicks off and our first tournament (May 2nd-3rd) will be the Robert “B” Doyle Memorial; A man who dedicated countless hours to the EMMGA as past president and other board positions. At some point he made you a set of golf clubs as you visited his workshop on Munson Ave. in the East End. And yes, it was he who kept bottle rockets 🚀 in his golf bag and aimed them at those pesky crows 🐦‍⬛ that attempted to distract his putt for ……….. birdie. (Caw).
