IMPORTANT WEEK 5 GAME UPDATE 🚨

Due to the expected nor’easter and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our players, cheerleaders, coaches, volunteers, and families, SNEYFC has postponed ALL Week 5 games scheduled for September 26th/27th.

What does that mean for the Game Schedule?

🏈 Week 5 will now be played Sunday, November 1
📅 Weeks 6–9 remain unchanged and continue as scheduled (With hopefully a break in rain games for us!)
🏆 Playoffs will begin Sunday, November 8, with the small division Super Bowl moved to Saturday November 21st

🌧️🏈 RAIN OR SHINE, THESE JUNIORS DON’T QUIT! 🏈🌧️

Yesterday’s rain game was one for the books! Another wet and gritty battle couldn’t stop our Juniors team. Both teams played with incredible heart, determination, and grit, taking us all the way into overtime.

And in such a close, hard-fought game, we have to give a huge shoutout to both teams for their outstanding sportsmanship. The respect, effort, and class shown on the field made this game something special. ❤️

So many emotions. So much heart. And when it mattered most, our Juniors dug deep and finished the job!

💪 FINAL: 12–6 — OVERTIME WIN! 💪

So proud of these boys and the way they battled through the rain, stayed together, and never gave up.

🏈 Flag Game Recap

This year’s Flag team was BIG… so big that we were able to split them into two teams and create our very own Blue and Red Teams. Two teams, One Lancer Family

Today was our littlest athletes first game and these Lancers came ready to play! From ages 4–7, the two teams battled it out all morning, finishing their first game with a tie 30–30!

We’re so excited to watch these little guys and gals grow, learn, and have some fun this season!

Tough Sunday for our Seniors in the Whalers V Lancers game. Our seniors spent this week learning from it, putting in extra work, and plan to come back ready to compete again this Sunday. There’s still plenty of football ahead for season 2026!

🏈🌧️ JUNIORS — HEART, GRIT & SPORTSMANSHIP 🌧️🏈
Sunday was a hard-fought battle from start to finish. With the rain pouring down and the conditions getting tougher by the minute, our boys never backed down. 💪
There were certainly some challenging moments on the field, but through it all, our Lancers continued to play with heart, composure, and respect for the game. They stayed focused on what they could control and represented our program the way we expect them to.
We couldn’t be more proud of the way these boys conducted themselves under pressure. Winning is important, but showing character when things get difficult means even more.
🌧️ They battled through the downpour.
💙 They stood together.
❤️ They played with heart.
🏈 And they showed true sportsmanship.
Proud of this group tonight. They weathered the storm and showed what being a Lancer is all about. 💙❤️

What a battle! After weather delays, pouring rain, and a long night, our Micros Lancers refused to let anything slow them down!
💙❤️ LANCERS 7 — NEW LONDON 6 ❤️💙
These boys stayed locked in, battled through the elements, and CAME OUT ON TOP! 💪🔥
It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t easy. But they showed heart, toughness, and determination from start to finish. When the game finally got rolling, our Lancers were ready to answer the call!
🌧️ Rain? NO EXCUSES.
