As a reminder, to be considered a member in good standing with voting capabilities, you must attend a minimum of three board meetings per season.

WYFCL closed out our very first Winter competition season, and what a season it was! ❄️📣

In addition to competing at our annual SNEYFC competition, our Winter team also took the mat at:

🏆 Killin’ It Classic
🏆 Wolverines Pride
🏆 Hatterfest
🏆 NECA

At every single competition this season, the Lady Lancers brought home 1st place! 🥇

What makes this season even more special is the dedication behind it. Fighting through flu season, winter weather, and quick schedule changes, these athletes showed up every single time ready to work. Their commitment, teamwork, and love for the sport never wavered.
This team, along with their amazing coaches, proved that hard work, dedication, and heart can accomplish incredible things.

We are beyond proud of this group for representing WYFCL with such determination and spirit. This first winter season is one we will never forget! It’s only the beginning for these amazing athletes. 💙📣 We hope to see our 6th and 7th graders back this Fall!

Our Winter Youth team did it again this weekend! ❤️🏆

For Valentine’s weekend, these Lancer Ladies rocked the mat in Danbury and brought home another 1st place trophy! 🥇✨

This win marks their 3rd trophy in our very first competitive winter season as Waterford Youth Football & Cheer League, and the team’s 4th overall win this year! What an incredible extended season!

We are beyond proud of these athletes and their amazing coaches for the dedication, teamwork, and heart they show every single week. 💙📣

The fun isn’t over yet! Come cheer them on one final time at the New England Cheer & Dance Championship (NECA) on February 28th — let’s pack the house and show them our league pride! 🎉🙌
