Miss Connecticut Teen USA will be in the 2026 Waterford Day Parade on August 8th! 👑 🇺🇸

Maggie Peterson serves as Student Body President at an all-girl school in Simsbury, CT. She is known for her energy, optimism, and ability to bring people together. Maggie has a 4.0 GPA, is captain of the varsity swim team and a member of the varsity tennis team. These experiences that have taught her the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance both in and out of the classroom.

She believes that even the smallest act of kindness can have a lasting impact and is committed to using her platform to inspire others to get involved in their communities. Attending an all-girls school has shaped Maggie's belief in the power of women supporting women. Surrounded by ambitious, compassionate, and driven young leaders from around the world, she has learned that confidence grows when we encourage one another to succeed. Whether she is representing Connecticut, volunteering at a community event, cheering on her teammates, or spending time with family and friends, Maggie approaches every opportunity with gratitude and enthusiasm. She and her friends have raised more than $40,000 to support children and families facing cancer.

As Miss Connecticut Teen USA, she is honored to represent the state she loves and hopes to encourage young people to dream big, lead with confidence, and never underestimate the impact
they can have on the world around them.

Last year we introduced Power Wheels to our parade itinerary. They were so cute and happy sitting in their vehicles driving down Rope Ferry waving to the crowd!
