Today we said goodbye to Sochi and Quartz (The Hot Mess Express) 💕💕

1 year old vs 3 year old…almost the same size 😳

This nugget is 1 year old today. He’s full of fire and sass so can’t wait to see what kind of event horse he grows into. Just string tested him twice to 18hh so even if I’m off a little—he will be big

2 weeks ago mom and I went on a 36hour road trip to pick this kid up from a kill pen. I knew him as Quartz when he was a yearling and once told me about him we knew we couldn’t let him go. He’s been making a terrific recovery so far thanks to . Hoping he continues to heal and pack on some pounds! We have been calling him the hot mess express or “X” for short and hoping that’s just a nickname with a story in the near future! Welcome to the family buddy!!

Sochi is expecting her baby in the next two weeks. Stall is clean and ready and we are patiently waiting

This weekend we welcomed this pretty lady to the farm. Sochi is here to live her best life, enjoy some pampering, and planning on a baby horse come May 2022! 🐴🐎👶🏼

We had a surprise early arrival this morning! Found this little guy up and nursing. Both he and mom are happy and healthy and going to travel home today 🐴
