​She’s due in January, and we are counting down the days to meet her Kick Seis baby. On top of that, she’s also booked for a 2028 foal out of BPH The Skies The Limit!

Arena ready for barrel drills this morning,

🔥🔥 BLOW OUT THE WINDOWS — ARYA & REBECCA CAME TO RUN! 🔥🔥

Well… Arya absolutely lived up to her name this weekend! ❤️‍🔥

Rebecca and Kool Features (Arya) took on their FIRST EVER 3-day barrel race at Reflection Arena for Central States — THE HEAT — and what a weekend it was!

And THE HEAT was no joke. 🥵🔥
The temperature was brutal. The humidity was brutal. But while everything around her was heating up, this mare stayed exactly what her registered name says…

❄️ KOOL. ❄️

This weekend was a true test of both horse and rider. Three days. Three runs. Heat. Humidity. Big classes. And Rebecca was putting in the extra work, running 3 trainer exhibitions Friday AND Saturday before asking Arya to come back and compete.

Iron sharpens iron — and these two did NOT disappoint.

🔥 FRIDAY: 15.883 — 26th of 93
🏆 1ST IN THE 2D — 19+ ADULT INCENTIVE!
🔥 SATURDAY: 15.795 — 31st of 103
🔥 SUNDAY: 15.662 — 20th of 85

What impressed me most wasn't just where they placed — it was the CONSISTENCY.

Three days of competition with only 0.088 seconds separating her fastest and slowest runs.

No falling apart as the weekend went on. No quitting when the heat and humidity took their toll. She just kept coming back ready to work and ready to RUN.

For Arya's first 3-day barrel race, Rebecca couldn't have asked for a better test of this mare's heart, athleticism and composure.

The arena was HOT… but Kool Features stayed KOOL. ❄️🔥

And there isn't much time to celebrate because…

🐴❤️ What an incredible week for this special team! ❤️🐴
The ladies came loaded for business this week, and we're so proud of the steady progress they're making together.
Wednesday, Rebecca and Arya headed to Wildfire Arena, where Aria made just her 4th Open Barrel Race run, stopping the clock with a 16.4.
Then on Sunday, they traveled to Flickerwood Arena. Out of 111 entries, Rebecca and Aria finished 32nd with an impressive 15.975, placing them in the 2D—all while making Aria's very first run at that arena.
What many people don't realize is that Rebecca hasn't competed in barrel racing at this level in over 20 years. Yet she has brought the same dedication, patience, and horsemanship that have made her successful in the Arabian show ring into the barrel racing world.
Watching these two grow together has been something truly special. Every run shows more confidence, more consistency, and more trust. Rebecca's calm, steady hands are helping guide Aria through her seasoning year, and Arya continues to answer every challenge with heart.
Success isn't always about winning the race—sometimes it's about seeing the progress that comes from hard work, perseverance, and believing in your horse.
A very special thank you to Shannon Kerr for your help, guidance, encouragement, and willingness to share your knowledge. Your support has played an important role in helping this team continue to grow, and we truly appreciate everything you've done.
