Great opportunity for our young wrestlers at tonight’s practice. Thank you to Binghamton University coaches Ryan Leblanc and Luke Welch for swinging in and sharing your knowledge with this hard working group of kids.
Be COMMITTED and Be CONSISTENT. That’s why we stand out from most!!

Shoutout to Blackbelt Wrestling Academy’s Zakk LaRue for competing in the Journeymen Fall Classic today, testing himself against high level competition. He has been in the room all offseason, working hard and helping with our younger wrestlers. Looking forward to big things ahead for Zakk this season.

Munn wins massive back-to-back matches over nationally ranked opponents as he won a state finals rematch over Matt McDermott in the quarters the match prior.

Congratulations to Carthage Comet turned GFA Dragon, 𝑹𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒏, on reaching the 152-pound semifinals on the Union College campus moments ago!

Pitted in a rematch of the 2026 NYSPHSAA DI State main event; it was Munn getting his arm raised when he recorded the lone TD of the match in the final 1:00 of the 2nd period to come away with a 4-2 decision over Smithtown's 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐜𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐭 (2x State Silver; 2x NHSCA National runner-up)!

Earlier in the festivities, Munn also boasted a 17-2 TF 2026 Delaware State champ, 𝐃𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨!

It is with a sad heart to hear of the passing of one of the greatest coaches to step on the mat. As a young wrestler i quickly learned why Beaver River was such a powerhouse in the 70’s,80’s and 90’s. It wasn’t that the wrestlers were any tougher than us but it was the fact that Coach Ferguson was their coach. Our hearts and prayers 🙏🙏 go out to the family of Coach Wayne Ferguson. Much respect for this man. R.I.P. Coach and thank you for what you’ve done for the sport of wrestling.

We will not be bringing a K8 team to the Finger Lakes Duals this year, but a few of our wrestlers are competing with the Superior team. They have a few K8 openings listed below. Coach Steve will be there as well. Please message 315-783-9123 if interested in joining.
