1. Being cold can burn fat..
Your body has brown fat whose job is to keep you warm.
👉 When you’re cold:
• Your body burns calories just to heat you up
• Even shivering = calorie burn
💥 That’s why cold plunges and winter walks can slightly boost fat loss
2. Sleeping badly can slow fat loss HARD….
If your sleep sucks:
• Hunger hormone (ghrelin) goes up
• Fullness hormone (leptin) goes down

• You crave junk

Just wrapped 12 weeks with and yeah… we clocked in and handled business.
Postpartum cut but make it ✨functional✨ — calories still high (b**b juice stays stocked 🍼), lifts heavy, no excuses.
Scale tried to play me the last few weeks like it had an attitude…
Still down 18+ lbs.
Got sick twice.
Period pulled up after a YEAR like “miss me?”
Sleep? Stress? ✨ Character development ✨
And we STILL made progress.
I’m 18 lbs closer to the goal and we’re not done. We don’t stop mid-set and we don’t stop mid-goal either. Party keeps going till it’s finished.
About 6 lbs off my first goal… yeah I wanted it, yeah I’m a little salty—but we don’t crash diet over here. No shortcuts. Just consistency and showing up even when everything feels off.
Progress pics coming when I’m ready… because right now it’s a constant cycle of:
“okay dang I look kinda good 👀” - then I see a photo of me someone took in the wild and I’m like…. Nah. That’s disgusting.
So yeah, I’ll stay in my delusional athlete era a little longer 😂
But I feel the progress, I’m stronger, and we’re just getting started.
Kelsey never had to pull the brown sugar from my toast (THANK YOU) and my calories never got below 2000 😈 we eat and make progress over here. This isn’t the 90s honey 😘 (but I wish it was in so many ways - just not the he**in chic way 😂)

Hi, I’m sick again 🤧
But, I did my workout because I can’t take two rest days in a row. It started with a napping baby, but ended with daddy saving me from my Velcro child 😜
The mental benefits are just as important as the physical benefits of working out!
