Racing has a funny way of keeping you humble 😂🏁 no matter who you are…
You can have great years, terrible years, mediocre years…and years where you’re bad fast and everything seems to be clicking, and then racing reminds you that she doesn’t care about your feelings. 😂 You can do everything right and still end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s racing even after 21 years and we signed up for it!
Overall, we’ve had a GREAT year. We’ve been bad fast pretty much everywhere with a few wins and at the top consistently. We’ve unloaded, made a lot of memories, and had a whole lot of fun along the way, well mostly.
HOWEVER, every race team has its kryptonite…and apparently I-94 likes to remind us of this annually that she is ours. 😂 We don’t race here all year, then roll in for the Wissota 100 at the end of the year to play with the rest of the big dogs. What could possibly go wrong?! 🤣
And before anyone says, “Well, maybe you’re just not competitive there…”, hold your 🐎. 😂 We made the BIG SHOW last night when 12 other cars didn’t. We’ll take that little win and put it in our pocket🤪!
No excuses, no whining (well, 🤔 me 🩷😜) no pity party🤣. That’s dirt track racing…
So… tonight we’ll do what we always do! We will strap in, give it everything we’ve got, laugh with our friends, enjoy the people who make this crazy sport worth it, and hope the ol’ #20 comes home in one piece😳. I have 100% faith in my driver 😘.
And will we be just a tiny bit excited to see I-94 in the rearview mirror tonight? HELL YES. 😂😂😂. One more night. Let’s have some FUN! 🏁💛🩵
Then, it’s back to Friday night lights 💜🏈💛 against Pierre at HOME! Come cheer on the Arrows against the #1 Ranked Team!
