Waterville Senior High School Boys Soccer Team Maine

Last weekend, the WSHS Boys Soccer Boosters held a fundraiser to support the high school’s Personal Care Closet and Food Pantry. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, fans, and community, we raised around $375 through donations and bottle returns — and collected a bunch of essential items!

The season has come to a close and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families, fans, and community members who supported the Waterville Boys Soccer Team this year! 💜⚽

Your generosity made a huge impact — from a successful bottle drive and raffle to our charity efforts benefiting the WSHS Personal Care Closet and Food Pantry. Because of you, our boys walked away not only with great memories and friendships, but also with team sweatshirts, and our seniors proudly received jackets to mark their final season.

We celebrated together last night at our end-of-season banquet, recognizing the hard work, growth, and dedication of this incredible group. We’re proud to share that five of our players earned KVAC honors — congratulations to Hunter, Tommy, Hamad, Hector, and Musa on this well-deserved achievement! 👏⚽💪

A huge thank you to Coach Dillaway, Coach Woo, and Coach Webber for their time, leadership, and commitment to helping our players grow both on and off the field. 💜

The WSHS Boys Soccer Team played an incredible game against Cony, falling just short in overtime. We couldn’t be prouder of their fight, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the season. 💪💜

The Waterville Boys Soccer Boosters are organizing a fundraiser to support the Personal Care Closet and Food Pantry at Waterville High School. We believe that by offering several ways to contribute, we can make the biggest impact possible.

Here’s how you can help:

🍎 Baked Goods & Hot Apple Cider:
We will have a variety of baked goods and hot (or cold) apple cider available at the game. These items will be available by donation only, and all proceeds will go directly toward purchasing supplies for the closet and pantry.

📦 Collection Box:
We’ll have a donation box on-site for anyone who would like to donate personal care or pantry items instead of money. Some of the needed items include personal care products like toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and toilet paper. Some of the needed non-perishable items include pasta, ramen noodles, pasta sauce, and canned goods.

♻️ Bottle Donations:
You can also bring your redeemable bottles to Webber Field on game day. We’ll return them to the redemption center, and every dollar earned will go toward stocking the closet and pantry.

Today is the last home game for the boys and also the senior game. The varsity team plays at 3:30 with the JV game to follow. We will be honoring all of our seniors at the start of the varsity game. Come down to Webber field and help us honor these players with a warm, well-deserved send-off.
