Open Water Scuba Class. starts July 26 and 27. Dave Austin is an independent PADI instructor conducting the class. Pool sessions with be on the 26 and 27 from 10:30 t0 Noon and 2:30 till 4 each day. You must do the PADI classroom online and complete it before you can go to the pool training sessions
Class sign ups are done directly with Dave, not through the shop. You can reach Dave at 207 649-1629 and he can answer any questions about the Course.
I know some of you have been waiting for the dates of our next scuba class. It was scheduled for April 8. I wrote the post and was just about to publish it when I found out the Boys Club along with the pool had been shut down. This was the same day they closed the schools.
The store is still open our regular hours as we are considered to be an essential business due to our Electronics Vehicle Service. We are doing air fills as usual. It would always be a good idea to call first as you already know things are changing every day. Our regular hours are Mon, Wed, Fri, 9-5 and Sat 9-4 If you use google maps, you can get an recent update on our hours as some days we am here on Tues and Thursdays for part of the day and google will show those hours. Don't use our website as we will not update the hours on the website, only in google maps
Now would be a good time to check your tanks for Hydro dates and visual inspections along with any Regulator and BC service you may need.as this will avoid the back log once this Covid 19 ends.
When the pool opens back up we will reschedule the class as soon as we can. Stay safe.

We are looking for 6 people to help us with the inflatable/bounce house part of our business. The event is next Sat, July 21. It is an all day event. You would be working a bounce house or other type of inflatable. No previous skills are needed. We will train you on site and you will be working with one of our regular staff members. The pay is $11 per hour and you will get paid at the end of the day. You must be 15 or above and like working with young people. There are possibilities of future jobs as well for the right people. Call or stop by the shop if interested.

Next Open Water Course, Starts July 20th. 6Pm - 10pm. We do class room and pool the same night. Runs 7/20, 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17, diving 8/20 and 8/21. Cost $350

ADVANCE OPEN WATER COURSE. Classroom on July 21, diving on July 23 and 24. Do 5 dives over the weekend. Dives include Navigation, Search and Salvage, Night Dive, Deep Dive, Boat Dive or Computer Dive. Cost $325

Open Water Scuba Class starts March 7 and finishes April 13 with open water dives on May 7 & 8. Going on a trip in April, no problem, we can do a referal and you can do your open water dives while on vacation. Call the shop for detail and to hold your spot. 873-0266
