Friday the 11th was spent over in Spokane Washington for the Spokane Interstate Rodeo. Now i’ve been coming to this rodeo for years and it was so special to be back this year riding in that arena!
The queen Zoe Montgomery and I met when we were little showing horses. This girl always has a smile on her face and makes every rodeo so much fun. It been a pleasure to be a sash sister to Zoe this year now being older! You’ll do amazing things, especially as a teacher!
During the rodeo we were asked to participate in musical chairs but on our horses. This was a ton of fun to do something different at the rodeo. Congrats Hayven Chase on your win!🥇

We kicked off the weekend down in Colfax for the Palouse Empire rodeo Thursday night! From holding the line for the cowgirl, Sweetheart trick riders, to riding in the barrel truck with all the rodeo queens. One of my favorite parts about traveling to all these rodeos is seeing all the other rodeo queens. Spending time just chitchatting before and after the rodeos.  It’s been a pleasure to travel alongside Catarina as she represents the police empire rodeo. I attended her coronation a few months back and it’s been a blast ever since!

Thank you Catarina for having us! This was a fun evening filled with lots of smiles. Huge shoutout to the rodeo committee for allowing us to come. And of course the Aces Wild Pro Rodeo for putting in yet another great show!

Next up on Saturday September 5th we decided last minute to go to Ritzville rodeo. Now this rodeo may be smaller but they sure are mighty!
I got the opportunity to chat with the rodeo announcer for a few, Bull Demers, such a cool kind man.

Along side was just 1 other queen Miss Rodeo Othello! We spent the evening together pushing cows and just chatting about the great times we’ve had so far this year. And of course we had to stop for coffee!

Now with that it was an honor to meet their rodeo queen contestant miss Ruby Sprecher. This young gal was so welcoming as soon as she saw me in the arena she came running up and introduced herself. No doubt she will do extraordinary things next summer! I can’t wait to watch her journey.

Thank you to the whole ritzville rodeo and community for allowing us to attend and be back this year as visiting royalty!

On friday the 4th we headed over to Ellensburg rodeo for a super exiting evening! This rodeo was in my top 3 I wanted to attend this year and it definitely did not disappoint! There was quite a few queen and a super fun grand entry. Thank you to the Ellensburg rodeo for having us. Miss Ellensburg Rodeo Queen Sky-Lynne Trevino has done a fantastic job this year and it was awesome to be apart of her rodeo!
Also shout out to Capital Elite All Stars for this amazing jacket keeping for warm and dry and these colder evenings!

WOW! Big Bend Round up knows how to show out! Saturday evening, we had a sold out show! I had seven visiting royalty queens, and I’m so thankful for each and everyone of them. we braved through the weather on Saturday with the crazy winds and a little bit of rain. All the girls still had a smile on their face by the end of the night. it was such a fun evening, pushing cows with all the girls. On Sunday we had another awesome performance. After the rodeo, a few of us went and signed autographs.  as you all know I have been traveling since March all over the PNW representing the Big Bend roundup and it has been nothing but super enjoyable. So many memories made along the way. 

I want to give a huge shout out to all the people who made this rodeo weekend possible. Mark Johnson for getting me anything that I need Carolyn for organizing the show. And all the generous sponsors that have helped me get down the road to this moment.

Friday night we traveled over to Moses Lake! This was probably one of the larger crowds we’ve ran in-front of. Last minute we were asked to carry in a military flag and that was such an honor. After that we ran back in for our queen run. Thank you Kaylee for having us!

We are just 1 week away from the NCW fair and I wanted to share my experience with showing when I was younger!

I grew up showing animals, arts and crafts, and so much more for over 10 years at the Pend Oreille County Fair. I showed pigs for 3 years at the North Idaho state fair along with hitting jackpots throughout the PNW. When I was in 2nd grade I started lessons under priceless horsemanship. Learning jumping, western and english equitation. From a young age I wanted to win the “high point senior gaming champion” at the fair. In 2023 my final year of horse 4h I completed that goal. Along with that I took home reserve grand champion in multiple classes with a horse I had paid $700 for just 4 months prior.

4-H taught me so much more than how to compete or win. It taught me that you can accomplish incredible things regardless of your circumstances, as long as you’re willing to work hard, stay dedicated, and believe in yourself.

I will forever be grateful for the lessons, memories, friendships, and opportunities that 4-H has given me. Most importantly thankful for every person who supported, encouraged, and helped along the way.

As we get ready for another great year at the NCW fair, I hope the younger generation can experience the same opportunities, lessons, and memories, that made such an impact on my life.
