Join us at the Watsonville Youth Center on Friday, September 18 from 1:30-6 PM to taste and vote for your favorite salsa as local salsa makers compete for the title of Watsonville’s Best Salsa!

Still Summer Club and Next Level Soccer Club: Summer vacation may be over, but not on Saturday! We keep the summer fun going every weekend.

Join us for a field trip to the Boardwalk on Wednesday, August 5 from 9 AM-5 PM.

Then, extend the fun with an optional overnight camping trip at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. (Camping is optional)

This field trip is free for Passport to Fun members ages 11-17. Passport to Fun membership is FREE! Register at www.watsonvillerec.gov

Field trip applications are available exclusively at the Youth Center. Space is limited for this exciting day filled with fun and memories, so be sure to pick up your application at the Youth Center and sign up now!

Last week we completed our month-long 2v2 FC26 tournament with a competitive match between two high-level teams. Congratulations to our champions, who each received a PlayStation 5 generously provided by Quakes Foundation! Our 2nd place team did not leave empty-handed, being awarded with a ticket package to see the SJ Earthquakes play, as well as a free meal from our partners, hot_birds831. La semana pasada completamos nuestro torneo de 2v2 FC26 de mensual con un partido competitivo entre dos equipos de alto nivel. ¡Felicidades a nuestros campeones, quienes recibieron un PlayStation 5 cortesía de Quakes Foundation! Our field trip to learn how to surf with Capitola Surf & Paddle was awesome! Thank you to the instructors and special shoutout to Darryl "Flea" Virostko for inspiring our participants to go out and shred the gnar.

CHEF OF STEEL
YOUTH COOKING COMPETITION

Months and years of training has come down to this: Three courses created and presented by teams of 2-3 to win prizes and reign supreme as the Second Annual Chef of Steel champion.

Schedule:
-Weekly cooking practice starting July 6.
-Final Competition will be on Friday, August 7.

Meses y años de entrenamiento se resumen en esto: Tres platos creados y presentados por equipos de 2-3 personas para ganar premios y coronarse como el campeón de la Segunda Competencia Anual Chef de Acero. ¡Inscríbete para participar en la competencia o simplemente ven a disfrutar y a juzgar la deliciosa comida! 

Horario:
-Prácticas de cocina semanal empezando el 6 de Julio.
-La competencia final se llevará a cabo el viernes 7 de agosto.
