Cal Poly Dressage Team Cal Poly Dressage Team started in 2002 with only a handful of members. It has since grown to about 20-30 active members.
No dressage, or even riding experience necessary to join! We welcome riders of all levels. It's a fun and affordable way to gain riding experience while at college. For those more interested in competition, we dedicate at least 4-5 days per week to practice, and strive to to our best in each of the 6 annual regional shows that precede IDA Nationals in the spring. Hello! My name is Aislin Falasco. I am a third year Marine Science major from Arkansas! I am excited to serve as this year’s team show coordinator! I have been riding for over 15 years and have a Hanoverian mare named Rosie, who I was fortunate enough to earn my bronze and silver medals with. Outside the barn I love to cook, go to the beach, and read! I’m so excited to meet everyone and can’t wait for a fun year!

Kaileen Grace is graduating this spring with a B.S. in Animal Science and a minor in Spanish. Kaileen has ridden with the Dressage Team for four years and has competed on the show team for three. She has also served as Horse Manager and President during her time with our team. Some of her favorite moments include when Lily almost missed the flight to nationals because she forgot her passport and Julie’s school bus van getting a flat tire at the Waffle House parking lot, all in the same day! This fall, Kaileen will be moving to Iowa to attend Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she will emphasize in large animal and equine care. We are so proud of Kaileen and all that she has accomplished during her time at Cal Poly and we can’t wait to continue watching her succeed at Iowa!

2026 IDA Nationals was one for the books!
A huge congratulations to Lily-Rose Bacon for her 5th place First Level finish and to Caroline Kargenian for her 6th place Upper Training finish. We are so proud of our riders and all they have accomplished this season. A big thank you to Lou Moore-Jacobsen for coming out and coaching us. And we are so appreciative of Diller Ag Equipment, SmartPak Equine, and Weatherbeeta for their prizes.
We can’t wait for what next season will bring!
