From little leadline riders and first cross-rail rounds to derby horses, jumpers, and full programs chasing goals - Ocean Breeze was built to create a place for every stage of the journey.

This season brings evening team competitions & skills classes under the lights, Hunt & Go challenges, medal opportunities, prize money classes, custom buckle awards, affiliate opportunities, and year-end championships—all set in a relaxed coastal environment designed for horses, riders, families, and teams to enjoy.

On National Family Day, we’re reminded that horse shows are often a family affair. Pack the horses, bring the family, and make a weekend of it!

With coastal temperatures, room to settle in, camping on-site, special classes, and competition for every level, Ocean Breeze was designed to be a place where riders can compete and families can enjoy the experience together.

Ocean Breeze Hunter Jumper Series returns June 26–28 with the Coastal Kickoff at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds.

An environment that works in your favor... mild coastal temperatures, open space, and a relaxed, rider-focused atmosphere to settle in and perform.

We’ve built the weekend with both competition and rider development in mind:

• Spacious arenas with room to ride
• Thursday ticketed warm-up rounds for a confident start
• Stalls available, dry camping on-site, and haul-ins welcome
• Hunters from poles through 3’ and jumpers from .65m–1.20m
• Medal classes, special night classes, and our featured Hunt & Go Derby
• Prize money opportunities and custom buckle awards
• USHJA Outreach and Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) classes
