Mark your calendars, Dojo's families. Next week is a big one:

✅Monday, September 14 — TIP Testing Day 1, 4:00–6:30 PM
✅Tuesday, September 15 — TIP Testing Day 2, 4:00–6:30 PM
✅Wednesday, September 16 — Color Belt Exam
✅Thursday, September 17 — EBC Belt Exam (ages 4–7)
✅Friday, September 18 — Black Belt Boot Camps
✅Saturday, September 19 — IAMARRS Hawkeye State Tournament, Waukee South Middle School

For TIP Testing, come anytime within that window on either day — there are no regular classes either day.

Students who qualify to test will be notified during their TIP Testing session on the 14th or 15th, so you'll know before exam day. Plan your week now so a work schedule or a soccer practice doesn't catch you off guard.

Students, clear your calendar: Guest Warrior Days are September 21, 22, 23, and 24.

That week you can bring a buddy to your karate class with you — free. A friend from school, a cousin, a neighbor, a teammate. They train alongside you in your regular class.

TIP Testing Days are coming up: Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15.

This is where our instructors evaluate each student's technique, focus, and readiness. Students who qualify to test for their next rank will be notified during their TIP Testing session.

Come anytime between 4:00 and 6:30 PM on either day — there are no regular classes during TIP Testing days.

Full, clean uniform with your belt tied properly. Bring your best effort — that's the part your instructor is really watching.

Here's exactly what you get in the Dojo's Family Martial Arts Back-to-School Karate Special:

Five full weeks of classes. A complete uniform. $149.

That's five weeks of real instruction — enough for your student to learn their first form, spar for the first time, and start walking through our door like they belong there.

Their training continues from there in our regular month-to-month program at $161/month, beginning October 23.
