The Mighty Biscuits took care of business on Sunday, completing a dominant doubleheader sweep over the Hops.

Game 1: 24-0
Game 2: 14-0

Our pitching staff and defense were lights out all day, while the offense came out of the baking oven absolutely on fire. When we're playing complete baseball in all three phases, we're a tough team to beat.

With the sweep, the Mighty Biscuits improve to 12-6 on the season and continue building momentum as we head into the next matchup.

⚾️ SEASON SWEEP COMPLETE! ⚾

The Mighty Biscuits finished the season sweep of the Kookaburras in dominant fashion with a 13-3 victory, completing the 3-0 season series.

Starter Timothy Martin earned the win, striking out 9 batters while keeping the Kookaburras offense in check. The real story, though, was the offense. The Biscuits exploded for 21 hits, proving once again that when our bats get rolling, we're one of the toughest teams to beat in the league.

Jordan Golz led the charge with a 4-hit performance, while also flashing the leather with outstanding defense at shortstop. Brothers Tom and Bill Balatsos each chipped in 3 hits, helping fuel the offensive outburst. From top to bottom, the entire lineup contributed and kept the pressure on all game long.

We'll look to carry this momentum into the final stretch of the regular season as we set our sights on a deep playoff run.

The last time out wasn't the standard we've set for ourselves.

After riding a 5-game winning streak, the Mighty Biscuits were swept by the defending champion Chicago Rockies. We played some sloppy baseball, and against a team of that caliber, those mistakes proved costly.

But baseball has a funny way of testing you.
Sometimes you have to get knocked down to come back stronger.

Tonight is our opportunity to respond.
The Biscuits take the field looking to complete the season sweep of the Kookaburras and get back on the winning train. The goal is simple: play clean baseball, trust one another, and get back to doing what we do best.

It's time to turn the page.

⚾️ ROCKED BY THE CHAMPS ⚾️

It was a tough weekend for the Mighty Biscuits as the defending champion Chicago Rockies took both games of our doubleheader, dropping us to 9-6 on the season.

The difference wasn't on the mound—it was in the field.

Our pitchers gave us every opportunity to win, but 7 defensive errors in Game 1 erased a tremendous pitching performance. We followed that up with 3 more errors in Game 2, giving the Rockies too many extra chances to capitalize.

Against the defending champs, you have to be at your best. Unfortunately, our defense was left in the pantry. 🧈🥖

Despite the sweep, there were positives to build on. Our offense continued to battle, our pitchers competed all day, and this team never quit. Sometimes baseball has a way of humbling you, but it's how you respond that defines a season.

We'll learn from it, clean up the mistakes, and come back stronger. There's still plenty of baseball left to play, and the Biscuits are ready to get back to baking.

The first half of the season is officially complete, and the Mighty Biscuits are in a great position heading into the stretch run.

After closing out the first half with 5 consecutive victories, the Biscuits sit tied for 2nd place in the National North Division with the defending champion Chicago Rockies, both at 9-4. While the records are even, the Biscuits currently hold the tiebreaker by allowing fewer runs this season.

The team has found its stride at the perfect time, carrying plenty of momentum into the second half with the postseason in sight.

At the top of the standings, the Ravens continue to set the pace. They're an impressive 14-1 and enter the second half on a 6-game winning streak. The big question is: Can anyone catch them?

Keep an eye on the Blue Jays as well. They've quietly put together 4 straight wins and are beginning to climb the standings, making this playoff race even more competitive.

⚾ SEASON SWEEP OF THE FISH! ⚾

The Mighty Biscuits completed the season sweep over one of our rivals with a hard-fought 7-4 victory, finishing 3-0 against the Marlins in three competitive matchups.

It's always a battle when these two teams meet, and we have nothing but respect for the Marlins. This last weekend, we reeled them in, buttered them up, and sent them home empty-handed. 🐟🧈🔥

Jake McCabe and Caedon Peterson led the way on the mound, each allowing just 2 runs while keeping a powerful Marlins offense in check. The defense was sharp all game long, making the routine plays and coming up with big outs when they mattered most.

Offensively, the Biscuits came out swinging, jumping on the Marlins early and taking a lead they never surrendered. The entire lineup contributed, putting together quality at-bats and manufacturing runs throughout the game.

The victory improves the Mighty Biscuits to 9-4 on the season and extends their winning streak to five straight as they head into the 4th of July break with plenty of momentum. We'll enjoy the holiday, recharge, and be ready to get back after it.

The Mighty Biscuits are back in action this Sunday as they take on the Marlins at Lake Park in Roselle.

The Biscuits enter the matchup looking to keep their hot streak sizzling after four straight victories. They'll also be looking to complete the season sweep after taking the first two meetings against the Marlins earlier this season.

It won't come easy, though. The Marlins will be looking to avoid the sweep, while the Biscuits aim to keep the momentum rolling with another complete team effort.
