We're wrapping up Summer Spirit Week with one of our favorite themes! Break out your brightest tie dye and join us for a fun day of dancing and colorful summer memories. 💃☀️

18 years ago today, we opened the doors to LDC.

42 years ago my parents signed me up for dance lessons, because I danced everywhere I went. Then the weekly dance lessons became weekends full of competitions and recitals. Fast forward to earning my college degree in dance and falling in love with teaching.

But something more was inside and I knew I wanted to create a space for other kids (and adults) to fall in love with dance AND more importantly, create a space to grow in confidence, create lasting friendships and community for families.

Anyway, with the BEST support from my parents and husband, Liberty Dance Center was born 7/28/2008. It is such an honor and blessing to get to do this dance life with everyone that has been a part of LDC over the past 18 years. Truly, it's not something I ever take for granted. My team is so very special to me as well and I'm so thankful for their talents and passion..they have helped build LDC to what it is today and continues to be.

Anyway, long sappy post...but happy 18th birthday to "my dance studio baby". Season 19 is less than a month away and it's going to be great!!

Last week Miss Kate, Miss Stacy and Miss Michelle headed down to Nashville for More Than Just Great Dancing’s annual Member Rally!

One of our core values at LDC is being a lifetime learner, so opportunities to learn, grow and connect with the best in the business is something we don’t pass up!

We came back inspired and full of new ideas to bring back to the team. We are so grateful!

Next week is our final week of summer session and then we have a 3 week break before we start season 19 on August 24!! See you there!!

Our Under the Sea Dance Camp was full of fun! Dancers spent the afternoon learning new choreography, playing games, making crafts and building friendships as they dove into an underwater adventure through dance. 🐚💃

Thank you to all of our little sea explorers for making this camp so special. We had a fintastic time!💙
