Other mines, such as surface marble, granite, sandstone, slate, shale, traprock, kaolin, cement, feldspar or lime operations, are also included.

◽ 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟒𝟖: covers “uncategorized mines,” which include underground and other types of mines that do not fit the surface mine description mentioned in Part 46. If the mining activities take place underground or involve the extraction of metals, Part 48 applies.
