Lorence Martial Arts

These guys helped Mr Lorence run a field day at La Casa de Esperanza charter school in Waukesha today. He was so busy helping kids in varying grades learn some taekwon-do and have a blast as the school year is close to wrapping up that he didn’t get pictures of the students in action.

We had a great time with Suro Jason Inay, head of the Inayan System of Eskrima when he graced us with his presence in South Milwaukee for a seminar at our friend’s school, Sorce Martial Arts.

We are an official school in the Inayan System and love having the chance to train directly with such a phenomenal instructor. Hopefully we can work with Jason Inay again soon!

The second picture is a mural on the Sorce building. Who is that a mural of? We would love to see who knows!

These students took the trip to Lodi, WI today and did a great job at the Capitol City Open. Congratulations! Your hard work pays off!

We held our annual Spring Self-Defense Workshop just the other day, and now we have a delivery of donated food and personal care items to take to The Salvation Army of Waukesha County. We are thankful for our participants’ donations as we know giving to local food pantries has dropped over the last few years.

We always hope we can help our community in some way, even if small. Thank you to everyone for helping this be a successful event!

Today was the second of two days visiting Carroll University’s occupational therapy graduate students to teach self-defense in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Brian has been coming here about 6 years, and the students are always looking forward to the experience. Pictured on the right is Andrew, one of our teenage students who helped out both days. Sam is not pictured but joined in for day one.

We had to do a silly pick. It was a serious time of learning but we have to have fun. Looking forward to next year!

This martial arts legend is the biggest influence behind the start of Lorence martial arts. Rest in peace Chuck Norris.

It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.

To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family.

He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.

While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him. The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it. To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends.

We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization, and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way.

As we grieve this loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time.
