Meet Alice, one of our incredible Youth Strong participants. After a long journey through cancer treatment, Alice has completed chemotherapy and is looking forward to a summer filled with camp, adventure, and making memories.
After months of treatments, hospital visits, and extraordinary resilience, she is settling into a new normal. That includes swim lessons, gymnastics, camp, and the opportunity to continue building strength one step at a time.
As part of our Youth Strong program, Alice is working to improve her coordination, balance, and strength, all of which were affected by chemotherapy. Every session helps her continue gaining confidence as she returns to the activities she loves.
The journey does not end when treatment does. Youth Strong is a free, yearlong program for childhood cancer survivors ages 6 months through 18 years. Through personalized fitness, supportive coaching, and a caring community, participants rebuild strength, improve overall well-being, and gain confidence as they move forward after treatment.
If your family, or someone you know, could benefit from our Youth Strong program, visit our website to learn more and connect with our team. > https://bit.ly/4gObYuv
