Great example of some body recomposition done right with 👏🏽

This is January to now with the SAME bodyweight.

She’s been hard at work adding more tissue overall this year and it’s showing. We did a short mini cut phase between these and are still working food back up, although it is close to where it was here in January. To see the body composition changes alone is really impressive.

Madie kicks ass everyday but still enjoys flexibility with social outings, concerts, going to the lake and traveling to Europe. Having that balance is imprktant to stay focused but also enjoy life a little bit too. You can have a Healthy balance of each and still make great progress.

Madie executes day in and day out. Consistency + intensity over time = success👏🏽

Need a moment to brag about my best friend taking home 3rd 🥉 in 35+ Class H and 3rd 🥉 in OPEN H at NPC Universe yesterday!

connell is my best friend, we have been there for each other since 2021 and I’ve only ever seen Amanda just continue to level up, improve and always come out with a positive attitude. She was 1 placing away from her pro card yesterday and was not one bit upset about it. She is someone who takes feedback, applies it and keeps pushing forward.

I’ve seen her go through some hard ass preps and she never once complains or throws in the towel. When you look at someone who walks the walk it’s her. She will be a bikini pro, it’s only a matter of time.

I’m so grateful I got to be there this weekend, see my best friends and meet some awesome people! Thank you so much Amanda and .connell721 for having me out and for being my roommate for the weekend! 🤗

Our team had a HELL of a weekend Brew City show! We’ve been coming to this show now for a couple of years and they always put on a great show for the athletes and are well-organized so thank you for a great show experience!

and I had 4 athletes competing this weekend. Three of them, it was their first show ever and the fourth was his debut back to stage after 8 years away. To say I am proud of this team is an understatement.

brought home the Overall 🏆 in Classic Physique.

brought home the Overall 🏆 in Wellness.

can in with 2nd place 🥈 True Novice, 1st place 🥇 Open A, and 🥈 in the overall for wellness.

came home with 3rd 🥉 in True Novice, 4th place in Novice and 1st 🥇 in Open A Figure.

I’ll make an individual post for each one after the next show in 2 weeks but we got improvements to make and another show to get these guys ready for😈

Fire is lit and I am so proud of our athletes, the professionalism and tenacity to keep pushing hard for their goals. None of their preps have been easy and they’ve all continued to level up.

HUGE thank you to and for all of their help this weekend, running back and forth to the hotel and taking pictures! 🙏🏽

💥“Can you voluntarily be the hungriest you’ve ever been, and keep pushing harder?”💥

People say to me all the time “I could never compete because I like food too much.”

It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. Being hungry is something that can break a lot of people. You also can never truly prepare yourself for what that’s like until you are in it. The best thing you can do here is:

➡️Make sure you are mentally ready for this. And by that I mean, are you mature enough to remember that this whole thing is a CHOICE. Therefore, you have no grounds to constantly complain about hunger, that you “can’t have X, Y, Z” foods, or that you chastise others around you for eating their regular foods. This is a surefire way to kill your prep and all of the great challenges and growth that can happen from this process.

➡️Make sure you have a good relationship with food and yourself. Are you competing to get attention? Seeking validation for how your body looks? Doing it because others tell you you should? Thinking it’ll “help” with your food habits or weight loss? If any of these are the case, you need to re-evaluate your WHY.

➡️Ask yourself if you can give up certain things throughout the prep process. Alcohol, treats, nights out late, missing meals, etc. Of course, this doesn’t mean to be a hermit and talk to nobody, but can you still live your day-to-day, with all sorts of temptation and people around you who don’t know your situation or what your goals are, and continue to push forward?

Competing isn’t about a weight-loss competition or to heal some sort of broken part of you. It is intense, unforgiving, and will reveal things about yourself you never knew existed (good and bad). It can be the greatest challenge of your life or it can swallow you whole. It just depends on if you know what you’re getting into at the start.

I wanna know what your favorite challenge has been with bodybuilding, if you compete! Comment below 👇 and let’s hear it!

2025 BORDER KLASH CHAMPIONSHIPS OVERALL FIGURE CHAMP🏆

Last year when Morgan competed, she qualified but didn’t win her class or the overall. We knew she could come in much better and this prep she has FAR exceeded those expectations.

Morgan earned every bit of this. Tyler and I are so proud to be a part of her team to help her get here. She is a true warrior with a mindset hard as steel. We are so grateful to be on this journey with her growing learning and getting better as we go.

She’s been telling me all year that pro card is hers so we are getting back to work for in July.

5 weeks to tighten up quads a little more and bring her absolute best 🎯

Congratulations 🏆

Just want to give a special shout out to my Lover and PIC, Tyler. He doesn’t like to take credit for things, but he’s been a big part of the change in VF over the last year.

Tyler started helping me with coaching last August. He has about 20 years of training experience and in various disciplines. He also just has a really good eye for things. I saw how much passion he had for training and helping others become better, and I just knew he would be great at it. I’m so glad I pushed him to start coaching because our team has grown immensely.

He’s not just my person but my partner in this. It’s been so much fun being able to share this endeavor with him, growing and learning together. We complement each other perfectly. He picks me up when I’m having a bad day or the imposter syndrome is hitting extra hard.

With his help on the training front, I wouldn’t be able to do all of this without him. It makes it that much more special being a team in life and growing this business. I also believe that it has helped our athletes immensely having two of us to keep them on track and resources to look to. I am extremely grateful for his patience, support and push he gives me in everything.

Excited to keep growing and getting better with my favorite person at my side.

♥️
