When you think you lost, dust yourself off and try again!
You only really lose when you fail to try again
There is NO SUCH THING AS EATING UNHEALTHY!!
Let me explain.
Very few things in life are universally bad and shouldn't be touched - especially when it comes to nutrition.
I have so many people who meet with me say "Well, I eat mostly healthy" and then question why they are gaining weight/don't feel good/can't sleep/etc.
It all boils down to this - nutrition isn't a binary choice. It is not judged by good or bad/healthy or unhealthy.
Nutrition is judged by its usefulness.
For example - I can have the best hammer in the world but if I need a screwdriver, it doesn't matter how "good" the hammer is, its flat out the wrong tool.
Here is where I am going with that analogy.
As oppose to healthy or unhealthy, how about accurate and inaccurate?
If you are not happy with your current composition/energy level, understand that it is a matter of inaccuracy as oppose to being "bad" or "unhealthy"
When we eat (and more importantly classify eating) as inaccurate, we are changing the association we tie to ourselves from being a horrible person to making a small adjustment. It really helps take the emotion out of the situation.
For instance - if you miss the parking spot, do you simply give up, throw your keys in the air and scream about how driving isn't a fit for you and you give up driving, etc?
Or do you laugh and simply adjust and move right along with your day?
Nutrition is 100% mental so please understand this is the secret to success. Reframe, refocus and get back to work. You can do it!
