The silly season is officially here… Lots of hours in the shop and lack of sleep getting prepped for our biggest events of the year.

Off to Grissom tonight for testing tomoorow. Tire testing on the STX FR-S for 2022 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals , testing big things for UMI's King of the Mountain Saturday Night Shootout for the Audi (been a huge push to get it done). Then Sunday it is back home for Milwaukee SCCA Solo Event #6 (2022 Season)

After a weekend off, we picked up the season with Milwaukee Region SCCA - Solo Event 5 at Madison College Public Safety Training Facility. The day was whirlwind, so we failed at taking any pictures, so lets do a throw back of By The Numbers for the event!

Challenging event in the STX car, but Jason was able to take the win on the strength of his last run. Onto the Super Challenge.

Struggled with the balance of the car today, lots of understeer was a common complaint, and we were no different... Hilary is headed for a Corvette tomorrow, Jason is going to make some wholesale changes to try to get the car to turn...

About to get started at Tire Rack SCCA Toledo ProSolo, conditions are less than optimal... rained earlier so it's damp with puddles to start for Hilary in L3, going to start on the wets incase this is the driest session of the weekend. Slight spinkles at this point. Check that, under a lighting delay now....

Yesterday was another trip to Route 66 Raceway for a Chicago Region SCCA event... the big news of the day, the return of Bridgestone Tires! It's been awhile since we have competed on Bridgestones on one of our cars, I think it was 2017 in an A-Street C5Z06.

Mounted up some freshly delivered RE-71RS on the STX FR-S. Overall feel was positive and balance was good, looking forward to getting more seat time and doing some testing once they are scrubbed in.

The smaller and slower half of the team stayed local while the other half was at Bristol ProSolo/Tour. Milwaukee Region SCCA - Solo Event #4 was held at Waukesha Expo Center, smaller lots size and lower speeds than the car has been running on all year, but the balance of the car was still really good. Used this opportunity to get some testing done and Jason was able to take the and overall index win.

Well, we accomplished our goal, UMI's King of the Mountain invite! Woot!

We didn't get the overall win (bad math with a 3-driver team almost cost us), we stopped trying to improve in the afternoon and started letting people fun run the Audi only to find out we finished in second at the trophy presentation, eek! Luckily, the first place team already was already in, so we got the invite.

It was a long week, but we made some new friends, saw some old friends, and overall had a great time. Looking forward to coming back in August!
